I wanted to show the mast setting jig I made to keep the masts in alignment while inserting them into their receivers.  Without this jig it was difficult to keep the masts in line while lowering them into place.  The front end is open and the back and two sides are at the angle of the receivers with a few mm spare.  I lift the masts and hold them firmly against the back of the jig and lower them in  place.  I reverse the process when de-rigging.

We enjoyed a late summer day last weekend on the Duo 480. The wind was very light , but conditions were very enjoyable, and after anchoring in a quiet bay for lunch we had a nice sail home, topping out at just under 7 knots. Not fast , but I could have sat there all day at that speed, with everything nicely balanced , and with no drama
