September 2012

Some of the full size panels. Of course the sheets of ply are not long enough for the boat so any full length panels have to be scarfed , which means bevelling pretty accurately the 2 edges to be joined on an overlap of about 10 to 1. I made each scarfed panel a little bigger than needed and marked out the panel shape only after scarfing to keep things accurate.

Also see the practise hull in the back ground which is of cheap MDF, half size, which was just to help learn how it all goes together. The full size dry test fit seems just as easy.
